Terms & Conditions

Effective November 1, 2026 · Japanese version is authoritative

1. Terms of Service

Article 1 — Application and acceptance

1. These Terms govern the use of todayhop (the “Service”), an experience booking service operated by KYOCHI Inc. (the “Company”).

2. By agreeing to these Terms during the booking process, the customer agrees to use the Service in accordance with them. The conditions shown on each experience page and in the final booking confirmation form part of these Terms. If they differ from these Terms, the individual conditions take precedence.

Article 2 — Definitions

1. An “Experience Provider” is a business that lists and supplies experiences through the Service.

2. An “Experience” is an individual service such as a craft, cultural or hands-on activity provided by an Experience Provider. The Service does not offer travel packages combining experiences with accommodation or transportation.

3. The “Experience Price” is the tax-inclusive price displayed on the Service.

Article 3 — Nature of the Service

1. The Company operates a booking platform that lists experience information, accepts reservations and receives payments. The contract to provide the experience is between the customer and the Experience Provider, which is responsible for delivering the experience and managing safety during it.

2. The name, address and contact details of the provider (seller) for each experience are displayed in the statutory seller information on its experience page.

Article 4 — Booking requests

1. Customers must follow the booking process, select the experience date, time and number of participants, review the details in the final confirmation screen, and submit their request.

2. Available dates are limited to today and the period shown on each experience page (in principle, through the next day). Booking deadlines are displayed on the applicable page.

3. Customers must confirm that all participants meet the eligibility conditions displayed for the experience, including age, health and language conditions.

Article 5 — Booking confirmation

A booking is confirmed when an available space has been secured and payment of the full Experience Price has been completed successfully. The Company sends a confirmation notice after the booking is confirmed. No booking is confirmed if payment or space allocation fails. If payment is made but a booking is not confirmed, the Company will promptly void or refund the payment.

Article 6 — Payment

1. Customers pay the full Experience Price when submitting a booking request using a payment method designated by the Company.

2. The Company uses Stripe Connect to manage booking payments and settlement with Experience Providers. The Experience Provider is the seller and provider of the Experience. Acting with authority granted by the Experience Provider, the Company handles payment and refund administration. Completion of the designated payment process is treated as performance of the customer’s payment obligation to the Experience Provider.

Article 7 — Customer cancellations

1. Once a booking is confirmed, a customer-initiated cancellation, including changes to the date, time or number of participants, incurs a cancellation charge equal to 100% of the Experience Price, regardless of the time remaining before the experience. No refund will be issued.

2. Cancellations must be made using the method specified in the booking confirmation. Contacting the Experience Provider directly does not complete the cancellation procedure on the Service.

3. Regardless of the preceding provisions, where a refund is required by applicable law, the Company will comply with that law.

Article 8 — Late arrival and no-shows

1. If a participant arrives late, the Experience Provider may shorten the experience or refuse participation. Late arrival and no-shows are generally not eligible for refunds.

2. Failure to attend without notice is treated as a customer cancellation under Article 7.

Article 9 — Provider cancellations and events beyond control

1. The Company will refund the full Experience Price if: (1) the Experience Provider cancels or is unable to accept the customer; (2) the experience cannot take place because of a disaster, severe weather, transport disruption, infectious-disease outbreak, governmental request or another event beyond control; or (3) a system failure or similar problem results in a duplicate reservation that cannot be accommodated.

2. If an experience can proceed despite bad weather, a customer’s decision not to participate is treated as a customer cancellation under Article 7.

3. If an experience is cancelled, the Company or the Experience Provider will promptly contact the customer using the details provided at booking.

Article 10 — Refund method

Refunds are made to the payment method used for booking. The time needed for the refund to appear in the customer’s account varies by card issuer or other payment service.

Article 11 — Rules for participation

1. During the experience, customers must follow the Experience Provider’s safety instructions and guidance.

2. An Experience Provider may refuse or discontinue participation if a customer fails to meet the eligibility conditions, cannot participate safely because of alcohol consumption or similar circumstances, or does not follow instructions. Refunds in these cases are determined according to the circumstances, individual conditions and applicable law.

3. Customers must handle the provider’s equipment and tools with care and must compensate the provider for damage intentionally or negligently caused.

Article 12 — Prohibited activities

Customers may not (1) book using false information; (2) use another person’s payment method without authorization; (3) resell or commercially transfer a reservation; (4) harass or disturb the Experience Provider or other participants; (5) interfere with operation of the Service; or (6) violate law or public order and morals.

Article 13 — Accidents and disputes

1. The Experience Provider responds, under its responsibility, to accidents, injuries, property damage and other incidents occurring during the experience.

2. This provision does not exclude the Company’s legal liability for loss caused by its own intent or negligence. Where a dispute arises between a customer and an Experience Provider, the Company will provide reasonable assistance, such as facilitating communications. Where needed to pursue a claim against the Experience Provider, the Company will disclose provider information as required by law.

Article 14 — Liability of the Company

1. The Company is liable for damage caused to a customer by the Company’s intent or negligence.

2. Where the damage results from ordinary negligence (excluding gross negligence), the Company’s liability is limited to the Experience Price of the reservation concerned.

3. The Company may temporarily suspend the Service for communication failures, maintenance and similar reasons.

Article 15 — Personal information

1. The Company handles personal information in accordance with its separately published Privacy Policy.

2. Customers agree that the Company may provide the relevant Experience Provider with the customer’s name, number of participants, contact details and declared participation conditions as needed to fulfill the booking, manage safety and make emergency contact.

Article 16 — Booking cancellation and suspension of use

If the Company determines that a customer has engaged in a prohibited activity under Article 12, the Company may cancel reservations or suspend use of the Service. Any refund will be handled in accordance with applicable law, taking into account the nature of the conduct.

Article 17 — Changes to these Terms

The Company may amend these Terms pursuant to Article 548-4 of the Japanese Civil Code. The amended terms and effective date will be announced on the Service in advance. Bookings confirmed before an amendment remain subject to the terms in effect when the booking was confirmed.

Article 18 — Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. To the extent permitted without limiting the jurisdictional protections applicable to consumers, the Tokyo District Court is the agreed court of first instance for disputes concerning the Service.

Article 19 — Language

The Japanese version of these Terms is authoritative. In the event of any discrepancy between it and an English or other translation, the Japanese version prevails.

Supplementary provision: These Terms take effect on November 1, 2026.

2. Cancellations and refunds

Customer cancellations

After a booking is confirmed, the cancellation charge is 100% of the Experience Price and no refund is available, regardless of the time before the experience. This includes changes to the date, time or number of participants.

If the Experience Provider cancels, the experience cannot be provided, or a system error causes an unserviceable duplicate booking, the Experience Price will generally be refunded in full.

Refunds required by applicable law will be handled in accordance with that law.

Use the cancellation method shown in your booking confirmation. See the Terms above for details.
