Privacy Policy

Effective November 1, 2026

1. Basic policy

KYOCHI Inc. (the “Company”) handles personal information relating to its todayhop experience booking service appropriately, in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan and other applicable laws.

2. Information we collect

We collect information needed to provide the Service, such as a customer’s name, contact details, booking details (experience, date, time, participants and price), inquiries, payment status and transaction identifiers, and device and usage logs.

With the user’s permission, we use location information to find nearby experiences. For Experience Provider staff who connect with LINE, we also collect identifiers needed for account connection and identity verification. Any information declared regarding participation conditions is collected only to the extent needed to provide the experience.

Card payments are processed by payment service providers. The Company handles payment status, transaction identifiers and other information needed to manage bookings.

During booking, we collect a required phone number and its country/region calling-code selection. We may also collect your optional answer about who you are traveling with. We use this optional response to analyze and improve the service; it is not shared with experience providers for their own marketing.

3. Purposes of use

We use information to accept and verify bookings, send notices, process payments and refunds, share booking details with Experience Providers, manage safety and emergencies, respond to inquiries and disputes, prevent fraud, secure and improve the Service, and comply with legal obligations.

If we send promotional or campaign information, we will provide notices or obtain consent as required by law.

4. Sharing information with Experience Providers

To fulfill a booking, we share the customer’s name, participant count, contact information, booking date and time and relevant declarations with the selected Experience Provider, to the extent necessary. Where consent for third-party sharing is required, we obtain it on the booking page after explaining the recipients and purposes. Providers may not use this information for their own marketing.

5. Third-party services and outsourcing

The Company uses external services such as Stripe for payments, Netlify for website hosting, Supabase for data management and LINE for communications and authentication with Experience Providers. We may entrust these providers with processing information to the extent needed to operate the Service.

6. Location information and cookies

You can browse experiences by choosing an area even if you do not permit location access. Cookies, browser storage and access logs may be used for page display, retaining settings, security and operational monitoring. You may restrict cookies through browser settings, although some functions may stop working.

7. Security and retention

We implement appropriate security measures, including access controls, secure communications and log reviews. We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill its purposes or comply with law and appropriately delete information that is no longer necessary.

8. Requests to access or correct data
